I will never forget my first voice lesson. Of course, I don’t remember all of the specifics, but I do remember feeling like I had found a whole new space where I could meet my authentic self.

That first lesson is the reason I am where I am today. My first teacher, Dr. Foerster, opened up a whole new world for me and did so in a way that inspired me to continue exploring even after I left the studio.

As a teacher myself, I strive to do for my students what my teachers have done for me.
